The “Let’s Read Together” volunteering programme opens its doors to the public!
During Volunteer Week, you’re invited to see what shared reading sessions with senior citizens look like – a gentle yet powerful form of volunteering that connects people through stories, words, and memories.
When: Monday, May 19, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Where: Sihoť Day Centre, Osvienčimská 1720/3, Trenčín
What to expect:

a look into a real-time reading session and follow-up discussion

conversations with volunteers and programme organizers

insight into how you can get involved in a similar activity

experiencing the power of spoken word and connection

light refreshments and informal networking

special guest: Mrs. Poláková from the OMEGA Literary Club
