Even though Trenčín does not have its own international airport, you can easily reach the region from several nearby airports:

Piešťany Airport (PZY) – The closest airport to Trenčín (approx. 40 km). It mainly serves charter and private flights, but some commercial flights also land here during the season. From Piešťany to Trenčín, you can travel by:

  • Train: direct connection (journey takes approx. 30 minutes)

  • Bus: regional lines between Piešťany and Trenčín

  • Car: quick connection via the D1 motorway (journey takes approx. 30 minutes)

Bratislava Airport (BTS) – International airport (120 km from Trenčín). From Bratislava to Trenčín, you can travel by:

  • Train: direct connection (journey approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes)

  • Bus: regular lines (journey approx. 1.5 – 2 hours)

  • Car: D1 motorway (journey takes approx. 1 hour)

Vienna Airport (VIE) – Large international airport (160 km from Trenčín). Connections:
