Explore our merch

The European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026 can always be with you.

The 100% cotton clothing merch was created in collaboration with local designers Primát and places emphasis on sustainability, quality, and honest regional production. Each garment works with the motif of curiosity and originally references the story of Trenčín 2026.

The complementary merch expands the Trenčín 2026 collection – including a winter beanie, a programme book, an art print, and a glass bottle, so you can keep Trenčín 2026 close at all times.

Online sales are available via the website Bratiska.sk. You can also view, try on, and purchase the products in person at the Trenčín Cultural Information Centre on Mierové Square.

How was our merch created?

The Trenčín 2026 merch was created in collaboration with the local brand Primát, which builds on Trenčín’s textile tradition as a former centre of fashion. The clothing is made from 100% cotton, reducing environmental impact and supporting responsible production. The entire manufacturing process takes place within an 80 km radius of Trenčín to keep the carbon footprint as low as possible.

We place strong emphasis on quality and long-lasting durability, creating products designed to endure long enough for people to build a genuine connection with them. By purchasing the merch, you directly support local creators and the development of the region’s creative industry.

The design is based on the motto “Awakening Curiosity” and works with an original typographic deconstruction of the name Trenčín 2026. Trenčín 2026 merch is therefore not just clothing, but a carrier of the city’s story, values, and culture.

The art print was created as a visual trace of the Light Art Festival, which transformed Trenčín into a city of light, curiosity, and new perspectives. It captures the atmosphere of night-time installations, videomapping, and digital art that revealed familiar places in a different light.

The print brings this experience from public space into a personal setting, serving as a reminder that culture in 2026 is about the courage to see the city differently. It symbolizes transformation, shared experience, and questions that open up new possibilities.

The print is available in a limited edition.

The Trenčín 2026 Programme Book offers, through inspiring interviews, a closer look at the European Capital of Culture project and its long-term vision. It maps the project’s key values – sustainability, solidarity, memory, and new narratives – and introduces the personalities who are actively shaping the city’s cultural and social transformation.
