Do you know someone who dedicates their time, energy and enthusiasm to others? A volunteer, volunteer coordinator or organisation whose work deserves recognition?
Nominate them for the Srdce na dlani 2026 award.
We know from our own experience how important it is to recognise the people behind volunteering. Our Volunteer Coordinator, Stanka Minárik Imrišková, received this award last year for her work in volunteer coordination.
And today? Together with our volunteers, we are building the Trenčín 2026 volunteer programme – a community of people of different ages, experiences and interests, united by their desire to get involved, help others and co-create the European Capital of Culture.
You can meet our volunteers at events, assisting visitors and guests, working behind the scenes and taking part in many other activities. Often, they are helping in places where their contribution may not be visible at first glance, but without it, many things simply would not work.
That is why we would be happy if you also looked among them. Perhaps you know a Trenčín 2026 volunteer whose dedication, energy or willingness to help deserves special recognition.
Because a nomination does not have to be only a path to an award. Above all, it can be a message:
We see what you do. We appreciate it. Thank you.
