During the opening weekend of Trenčín 2026 (13–15 February 2026), the DATA26 team will conduct audience and community surveys at selected events. We will be interested in what type of audience we reached across all days of the opening weekend, what the audience liked and disliked, and—beyond general feedback—we will also focus on questions related to the economic, cultural, and social impact of the Trenčín 2026 project on the city of Trenčín and its residents, as well as on the region and Slovakia as a whole.
Data collection will be carried out using two types of questionnaires. The community questionnaire will be collected only on Friday (13 February 2026) during the Živé susedstvá (Living Neighbourhoods) community evenings. The DATA26 team will be present in all four locations (Juh, Zlatovce, Sihoť, Dlhé hony) where the event will take place. Volunteers will approach you in these locations with a request to complete the community questionnaire and will guide you through the entire process. The questionnaire can be completed either in paper form or by scanning a QR code. Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes. Participation in the survey is voluntary and anonymous.
The second type of data collection will be the audience questionnaire, which will be collected over all three days of the event, i.e. from Friday to Sunday. You will most often encounter our interviewers in the city centre, but you may also meet them at specific venues such as KKC Hviezda, Klub Lúč, or the Okruhový Dom Armády. As with the community survey, our interviewers will approach you with a request to complete the questionnaire and will guide you through the process. This data collection will be carried out using tablets, meaning your responses will be automatically recorded online. QR codes will also be available in case you prefer to complete the questionnaire on your own device. Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 15 minutes. Participation in the survey is voluntary and anonymous. You can recognise our interviewers by a DATA26 badge or a DATA26 sticker on their tablet.
After completing either questionnaire, you can enter a draw to win non-cash prizes as a token of our thanks for your time.
