Europe for the City: Grant Programme to Support Culture in Trenčín

What are the priorities of the programme?

• Activities in line with the programme and objectives of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026
• Support for festivals and events
• Development of cultural tourism

Who can apply?

Eligible entities are:

• Civic association

• Non-profit organization providing generally beneficial services

• Legal entity authorized to conduct business

• Foundation

• Non-investment fund

• Interest association of legal entities

Additional conditions for participation:

• The eligible area for project implementation and its activities is the city of Trenčín.

• The applicant’s registered seat must be strictly located within the Trenčín Self-Governing Region.

• Not eligible to apply are organizations established by a municipality, a self-governing region, or the state.

• Not eligible to apply are natural persons or sole traders (SZČO).

Call for Applications

Call opening date: 1 December 2025
Application deadline: 12 January 2026

Total allocated funding: €100,000

Sub-programmes of the call:

• Support for small projects (maximum grant €5,000).

• Support for large-scale festivals and events (maximum grant €10,000).
