What is the goal of the program?
The grant program supports activities that:
- stabilize and develop cultural entities operating in the territory of Trenčín Self-Governing Region,
- maintain festivals, events, and cultural tourism,
- connect the cultural sector with other areas and build partnerships,
- fulfill the goals of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026.
Who can apply?
The following types of entities based in the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, operating in the cultural and creative industries sector, can apply for the grant:
- Civic association
- Non-profit organization providing generally beneficial services
- Non-profit organization providing generally beneficial services established by a municipality or higher territorial unit
- Legal entity authorized to conduct business
- Foundation
- Non-investment fund
- Interest association of legal entities
- Regional tourism organization
- Local tourism organization
The eligible area for project implementation and its activities is the territory of the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, excluding the city of Trenčín.
The applicant’s registered office must strictly be within the Trenčín Self-Governing Region.
Call for applications
Call announcement date: March 12, 2025
Application deadline: April 11, 2025
Allocated financial resources: €100,000
Subprograms of the call:
- Support for smaller projects (max. grant €5,000).
- Support for large-scale festivals and events (max. grant €10,000).

The grant application can be submitted electronically via the egrant.sk system. Successful submission requires meeting all conditions and providing the necessary data.
