What Awaits You in the Trenčín 2026 Team

Comprehensive preparation and implementation of multi-genre events covering the full spectrum of cultural activities, from intimate intermedia events to larger international projects connecting various genres and artistic approaches (especially literature, music, and performance)
Independent and proactive handling of all tasks and challenges within the assigned agenda of multi-genre events and intermedia
Implementation of the established program for the Trenčín 2026 project and its bidbook (https://www.trencin2026.eu/bidbook), including effective event accounting
Active cooperation with partner organizations and artists to ensure events; close collaboration with the production team of Trenčín 2026
Execution of other managerial tasks within the assigned area of the Trenčín 2026 program

Base Salary

1700 € gross monthly
Full-time employment

Requirements for the Employee

Suitable candidates should have the following education:

Secondary school with a leaving examination
Post-secondary/higher vocational education
Bachelor’s degree
Master’s degree
Doctoral degree

Language Skills

English – Intermediate (B1)

Personal Prerequisites and Skills

Ability to work independently, manage the agenda of multi-genre events, and respond to emerging tasks and challenges; flexibility and thoroughness
Good knowledge of the contemporary cultural environment, activity, and curiosity
A university degree in humanities, cultural management, or economics – an advantage
Proficiency in working with PC, MS Office, Excel, and knowledge of social media platforms
English proficiency sufficient for consultations with other European Capitals of Culture cities (though not the primary working language)
Ability to organize work and set priorities for oneself and other collaborators
Experience with active team work or professional practice in organizing large-scale cultural events is welcomed
