Meet the jury that could take your creation to the next level.
LENKA KURICOVÁ
She has worked at Kunsthalle Bratislava, Amnesty International, co-founded the creative company Pucle, coordinated the program for TEDxTrenčín, and served as the artistic director of the Trenčín 2026 project. She has participated in international contemporary art festivals and exhibitions such as CologneOFF and Venice International Art Fair.
JUREŠ LÍŠKA
Slovak producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, Jureš creates an eclectic electronic sound with his band Fallgrapp, blending trip-hop and world music. His music is used by global brands like UNICEF, Estée Lauder, Clinique, and Škoda. In 2023, he composed the music for the piece BezsLove for the Slovak National Theatre, which earned him the main Tatra Banka Foundation Art Award. Currently, Juraj focuses fully on composing for film and theatre.
PAULA POŠTOLKOVÁ
Paula is the production manager of the Pohoda Festival, overseeing the technical production of artists. She also has experience in artist booking, especially as the former director of the cultural venue Nová Cvernovka in Bratislava and co-founder of the booking agency SPFM.
JANA SHINA LOKŠENINCOVÁ
Singer, lyricist, musician. In 2001, she founded the independent music label Slnko Records, which is now one of the most respected music brands in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. As a musician, she began with Daniel Salontay in the band Dlhé diely; their collaboration continues today in the project Longital. Longital is among the top of the Slovak alternative scene, and their latest, 12th studio album Dočista (2022) was nominated for the Radio_Head Awards in the folk category.
ANNA MAŠÁTOVÁ (CZ)
A cultural manager, journalist, and lecturer based in Prague. She has led workshops, mentoring sessions, and panel discussions at events such as WOMEX, Ment Ljubljana, Czech Music Crossroads, World Music Festival Bratislava, and many more. She actively participates in grant committees and music award juries.
She is the founder of AMPromotions, an agency specializing in music PR, management, and booking. Currently, she works as an editor at Czech Radio Vltava and as an assistant professor at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts.
HENRI TURUNEN (NO)
Currently the program manager of the Oulu2026 – European Capital of Culture project, which he has been part of since 2019. He has a background in the creative industries, especially in film and music. He previously worked in film production, his music videos have been screened at international festivals, and he ran his own production company. For many years, he chaired the Oulu Live Music Association, organized music events, and developed the festival scene in the region. He also worked as a music journalist.
BORIS VEDEL (FR)
Since 2015, he has been the director of the Printemps de Bourges Crédit Mutuel festival, the first festival and meeting place for contemporary music in France, founded in 1977. He comes from Brittany, where he studied in Rennes and organized his first concerts and festivals. He later worked for several music labels, such as Virgin Music and Naïve Records, which he led until 2012. Alongside managing the Bourges festival, he also produces several live events, such as Fnac Live Paris and Sacem Grand Prix.
