We are currently looking for a Manager in the field of music and music festivals to join our programming team.

What awaits you in the Trenčín 2026 team

Comprehensive preparation and implementation of music events of all kinds – from classical to contemporary experimental music – including festival events

Independent and proactive handling of all tasks and challenges in the programming area of music, sound art, DJing, etc.

Implementation of the set programme of the ECoC (European Capital of Culture) project and its BidBook, including efficient financial reporting of events
-
Active collaboration with partner organisations and artists in the organisation of events; close cooperation with the ECoC production team

Performing other managerial tasks within the entrusted area of the ECoC programme
Base salary
€1,600 gross per month (during the probation period),
€1,700 gross per month after the probation period
Full-time position

Candidate requirements
Education level:
-
Secondary education with school-leaving exam
-
Post-secondary / higher vocational education
-
University degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral level)
Language skills:
-
English – Intermediate (B1)
Personal characteristics and skills:
-
Ability to work independently, handle the agenda of music events, and respond flexibly and accurately to emerging tasks and challenges
-
Good understanding of the cultural environment, especially developments and trends in the field of music production; active and curious approach
-
University education in the humanities is an advantage
-
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Excel), familiarity with social media environments
-
English at a level sufficient for consultations with other cities from the European Capitals of Culture network (though not your primary working language)
-
Ability to organise work and set priorities for yourself and other team members
-
Experience working actively in a team and/or professional experience in organising large-scale cultural events is an advantage
