Join a creative project that will brighten up the streets of Trenčín. Become part of the Susedské opletačky (Neighbourly Knit-together) group!
With dedication and knitting needles in hand, we’ll create colorful and playful art installations for public spaces that will become part of the Živé susedstvá festival this September and bring joy to the city. We need all hands – whether you’re already a knitting pro or haven’t made a single stitch yet – what matters most is the desire to create.

👉 Starting after June 23, we’ll be knitting in several locations: KC Aktivity JUH: Tuesdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Denné centrum Sihoť: Wednesdays from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, Dom kultúry Zlatovce: Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
The choice is yours!
👉 You can join at any time throughout the summer, until mid-September.
👉 We’ll provide all the knitting materials.
All you need is the desire to knit and contribute to a beautiful creation made together with your neighbors.
Invite anyone who might be interested – your mom, grandma, grandpa, or neighbors.
Everyone is welcome!

If you have leftover skeins or old sweaters you can unravel, bring them to us – together, we’ll give them a second life. Thank you!
