A poetic new circus performance is coming to Mierové Square, awakening curiosity from the very first glance upward. Spanish artists David Moreno and Cristina Calleja bring Flotados, a show in which music, movement, and light come together in a gentle yet captivating experience.
The dominant feature of the performance is a vertically suspended piano hanging nine metres above the ground. In the air, it becomes an unconventional stage where a piano virtuoso meets the breathtaking solo of an aerial ballerina. Projection directly onto the piano creates another visual layer and, together with the music and acrobatics, forms a striking visual and kinetic composition.
In the evening outdoor setting, Flotados takes on an even stronger poetic quality. The atmosphere of Mierové Square enhances both the visual and emotional power of the performance, inviting us to slow down, look up, and let ourselves be carried away by the moment. Every detail is precisely timed so that the harmony of music, light, and aerial dynamics can fully shine.
