About the event
The collective boat-building session is a side event of Splanekor 2.0. It was created to open up this format to people who are just starting out with this kind of creative work. It shows that building your own vessel is not only for experienced teams, but also for those who want to try something new and create it together.
During the event, you will gain basic know-how, a clearer idea of how to begin, and greater confidence in your first steps. Alongside practical information, it also offers space for meeting others, conversations, and new connections—from which a new team for Splanekor 2.0 (taking place on June 20, 2026) may emerge.
At the workshop, we will also have materials available for building a vessel (we plan to provide, for example, a few barrels and tractor inner tubes), but we would appreciate it if you could also bring your own items that you would like to use or incorporate into the construction. The more diverse the materials collected, the better and more creative the results can be 🙂
Who is it for
Individuals, groups of friends, families, colleagues, and entire teams who want to join Splanekor 2.0. The event is open to the general public. As it takes place outdoors and in terrain, it may be less suitable for people with significant mobility limitations.
