About the Band:
The Samaria Klezmer Band was formed in 2016 in Šamorín, bringing together outstanding musicians from the popular and folk music scenes to present authentic Eastern European klezmer music. Their style incorporates various genres of world music, jazz, and folk elements. The band is known for its emotional melodies, dynamic character, and the use of typical instruments like the violin, clarinet, and accordion. Their repertoire includes traditional Yiddish, Israeli, and Sephardic melodies, as well as songs originating from Jewish theaters of the last century that have become beloved worldwide.
