What was 2025 like for culture in Trenčín? What do the numbers tell us about attendance, events, and audience interest? And what can we expect from the rest of the title year?
We invite you to the second Cultural Community Meeting of this year, where we will look back at the past year together and open up discussions on the topics shaping culture in our region.
When and where?
Thursday, 24 September 2026 at 6:00 PM
Bunky on Lúka, Trenčín (in case of bad weather: Pupilla – Gastrocentrum)
What can you expect?
The evening will open with Stanislav Krajči, Director of Trenčín 2026, presenting the 2025 Annual Report of Trenčín 2026 European Capital of Culture, followed by an opportunity for your questions.
In the second part of the evening, Peter Martinisko, Peter Martinák, Barbora Petríková, and Juraj Benda will take the floor. In a short presentation, each of them will reflect on 2025 at their institution – the events they organised, how they performed in terms of attendance, and what audience feedback revealed.
The discussion that follows will also look at the first half of the title year and what Trenčín’s cultural institutions are planning for the rest of 2026 – and perhaps even for 2027.
Who is the event for?
Everyone who creates, organises, or supports culture in the Trenčín region – as well as those who would like to become part of the cultural community.
The event has a capacity of 50 people, so we recommend registering in advance.
