Join us for the next roundtable on the Youth Report 2024, this time in Trenčín!

What will we talk about?
🎯 TOPIC 1:
Youth and Employment – How are young people finding their place in the labor market? What are they missing? How can we better prepare them?
🎯 TOPIC 2:
Youth, Sustainability, and a Green Future – How are young people engaging with environmental issues? How can we support them?
On arrival, you’ll be welcomed with good coffee to help you comfortably start making connections. We’ll then introduce the organizers and the activities of the Trenčín 2026 project, and present two key themes from the Youth Report – youth employment and their relationship to sustainability.
Next comes a short interactive “elevator minute” block to encourage networking and informal conversations among participants. After that, two inspiring case studies will be shared:
🙋♀️ Zuzana Ševčíková from TeCeMko – Trenčín Youth Centre o.z., an experienced youth work and community development professional, who has been connecting young people with job opportunities for nearly three decades.
🙋♀️ Simona Hlaváčová from the community reuse center Baterkáreň in Trnava – a space for natural cosmetics, household products, courses, swaps, and reuse activities. She will share her journey toward sustainability and her work with young people in a local context.
The closing part will be dedicated to practical workshops on the main themes. We’ll showcase the YouthWiki tool and its practical use. Working in thematic groups, we’ll create recommendations and summarize the most important insights to bring back to the regions.
