DOBROlab is a new format within the Trenčín 2026 volunteer programme – a place for ideas, experiments, and volunteers’ own projects.
It’s a space where you can try out whatever makes sense to you.

Where? Creative Institute Trenčín
We’ll get into a creative Christmas mood together – with volunteer Daniela you can make gift tags, Christmas postcards, or small Christmas illustrations, depending on your preference and mood.
We’ll use cut-outs from the Bigshot, which you can decorate with watercolours or coloured inks.
The workshop is also part of an international postcard exchange project between the cities holding the title of European Capital of Culture: from Trenčín to the city of Kaunas & from Tartu to Trenčín.
At the end, you’ll take home an original gift – for yourself or as a Christmas surprise for someone close – and you will also create postcards that will be sent as holiday greetings to volunteers and communities in other countries.
A beautiful pre-Christmas creative session full of colours, ideas, and joy awaits us.
