DOBROstretko is an event that brings together volunteers and everyone who cares about their community and the city they live in.
It creates a space for sharing experiences, joint planning, and finding ways for each of us to contribute to life in Trenčín.
The meeting of volunteers within the Trenčín 2026 programme brings inspiration, new opportunities for involvement, and a discussion about how people help bring urban spaces to life.
What awaits us?
Discussion: Volunteering and Culture – when people shape the atmosphere
Volunteers are an inseparable part of cultural life in the city. Not only do they help with organisation and logistics, but they are often the first point of contact visitors have with an event – their smile, approach, and energy can turn an ordinary event into an extraordinary experience.
At this DOBROstretko, we will open a discussion on how the worlds of volunteering and culture intersect, and what artists, production teams, and the volunteers themselves take away from this collaboration.
We will talk about:
-
how volunteering enriches culture and vice versa,
-
what volunteers need in a cultural environment,
-
and how to co-create events that have not only quality, but also soul.
Volunteering and culture share one essential trait – they connect people. Let’s talk about how to make the most of this power.

He is most drawn to supporting cultural event production and working as a guide, where he can not only glimpse behind the scenes but also spark and fulfill visitors’ curiosity. He currently serves as a VOLUNleader, leading teams of volunteers at events, where he combines his technical precision with a human approach. -
