As part of the accompanying programme to the exhibition Heritage Protection and Modern Architecture of the Trenčín Region: Current State and Challenges, organised by the Centre for Architecture Trenčín, we invite you to a guided tour of the House of Mourning in the Juh housing estate, led by architectural theorist and granddaughter of the building’s architect, Mgr. art. Lucia M. Tóthová, PhD. As part of her diploma thesis, she focused on the work and legacy of her grandfather, Ján H. Blicha, for which she received several awards in Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. She currently works at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University in Prague.
The guided tour will begin in front of the main entrance to the House of Mourning (entrance from Saratovská Street) on 16 April 2026 at 14:00
