We’re preparing the 5th edition of the beloved event LEGENDS COME TO LIFE! 🥳
ℹ️ The project dedicated to regional history was created in 2021. Through engaging, dramatized stories, visitors learn interesting facts about the history of the castle, the town, and the region. The stories are not connected – each one tells its own legend. The event is free of charge and takes the form of a promenade through the town.
🏅 In 2022, the project received the Creative Act of the Year 2021 award, presented by the director of the Regional Cultural Centre in Prievidza. In 2025, Legends Come to Life will be awarded the title Top Tourism Product of the Trenčín Region for 2024, presented by KOCR Trenčín Region.
5️⃣ In this calendar year, “Legends” will take place for the fifth time. Over the past four years, the project has attracted 20,000 visitors from all over Slovakia and abroad.
➡️ This year, the event is supported by Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture and the Regional Tourism Organisation Horná Nitra – Bojnice.
🆕 New this year will be midnight side events, making it truly worthwhile to spend the night in Bojnice or nearby – and a mobile app STOPY ZÁŽITKOV (“Traces of Experience”) that will guide you intuitively through the event and replace the printed map of each legend.
