A Sunday of creative workshops, theatre and cabaret. U SESTRY Cultural and Community Centre in Trenčianska Teplá, located in the former power station that once supplied electricity to the Trenčianske Teplice tram line, will open its doors to children, parents and everyone who wants to enjoy a day of literature and music.
Programme
11:00 Rock, Paper, Scissors
Creative workshops with Viktória Štullerová.
13:00 Vila Lola
A theatre performance by OZ BáPoDi. Featuring Alica Botková.
Vila Lola 26 (If!)
The production is an updated version of the successful monodrama previously staged at the Čierny havran theatre in Bratislava, with Ingrid Timková in the title role. Since then, the play has been translated into several languages and staged in Prague, Budapest and Komárno, among other places.
Alica Botková, in the title role, delivers a focused performance that, together with the minimalist directorial concept, highlights the fragility and vulnerability of a character who is as allergic to sunlight as she is to her own failures.

15:00 Sunday Cabaret
A music and spoken-word programme by Kempelen Biomatic Orchestra, inspired by the atmosphere of cafés and cabarets from the first half of the twentieth century. Dance hits from the period, dynamically rearranged by bandleader Roman Peták, will be performed in five languages of Central Europe. Andrea Karnasová will read from literature of the period.
