Community Gardens Are About People – Not Just Plants
In collaboration with the local neighborhood community, we invite everyone from the Sihoť housing estate to a pleasant Saturday morning dedicated to neighborly connections, sharing experiences, and exploring the topic of creating community gardens in the city.
Guests from Košice will join us to share their experience with the Na Suti Community Garden – a successful project that transformed a neglected space into a vibrant place of belonging.
Come hear their story, gain practical insights, and enjoy a morning in the emerging community garden in one of the green courtyards in Sihoť.

Presentation of the Košice Community Garden ‘Na Suti’
Venue: Seminar room at Penzión na Sihoti (Jiráskova 5) – a space for discussion and your questions. Get inspired by a successful community garden project from Košice.

👥 Who is this event for?
All residents of Sihoť – curious gardeners, nature lovers, families with children, neighbors looking to be inspired and enjoy a nice morning together. It doesn’t matter whether you already have a garden bed or just dream of one – what matters is the willingness to be part of it. Admission is free.
