As part of the World Music Fusion series, which we are preparing in collaboration with the World Music Festival Bratislava, we invite you to an exceptional music and dance performance SĽUK: Pašie, where the past intertwines with the present and a powerful spiritual message meets an authentic artistic expression.
Pašie is a staged fresco depicting two archaic forms of the struggle between life and death. The first is traditional folk culture, with images of calendar customs connected to the cycle of winter’s passing and the arrival of new, life-giving spring. The second is represented by the New Testament biblical story of betrayal, persecution, arrest, suffering, and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
The aim of the performance is to interpret the story of humankind and the earth, living tradition, and biblical motifs through contemporary artistic means — using the language of theatre, dance, and music.
Admission to the performance is free, but registration is required: REGISTRATION – capacity is full
