Get involved in a creative project that will brighten up the streets of Trenčín. Join our Neighbourhood Knitting Group!
With enthusiasm and knitting needles in hand, we will work together to create colourful and playful art installations for public spaces, which will become part of the Living Neighbourhoods Festival in September and bring joy to the city. We need all hands – those who already master knitting, but also those who have never knitted a single stitch – the most important thing is the desire to create.

👉 After June 23, we will be knitting in several locations: KC Aktivity JUH (Tuesdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM) Community Centre Sihoť (Wednesdays from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM) Cultural House Zlatovce (Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM) The choice is yours.
👉 You can join anytime throughout the summer until mid-September.
👉 We will provide all knitting materials. All you need is the desire to knit and to leave behind a beautiful piece of work created together with your neighbours.
Invite anyone who might be interested – your mum, grandma, grandpa, or neighbours. Everyone is welcome.

If you have unused balls of yarn or old sweaters ready to be unravelled, bring them to us and together we’ll give them a second life. Thank you!
