What happens when theatre moves to the street?
Four performers from the collective Eléctrico 28 choose a spot in the city and begin to observe. Passers-by, situations, small moments of everyday life. And what they see, they comment on – through words, signs, gestures, or sound.
[ The Frame ] is not a performance with a plot or an ending. It is 45 minutes of attention devoted to what happens around us every day – things we usually fail to notice.
The Austrian-Spanish collective Eléctrico 28 has presented [ The Frame ] at festivals across Europe, Asia, and the United States. The performance was nominated for the Catalan Critics Awards.
During the performance, audience members will be provided with headphones through which they can listen to the performers’ commentary as well as its translation.
Artistic Team performing at Trencin: Josep Cosials, Alina Stockinger, Ana Redi and Adam Purtí.
