SurVarsha (India)

We invite you to another unique concert from the World Music Fusions series. In cooperation with the World Music Festival Bratislava and the Embassy of India, we are preparing an evening of Hindustani classical music featuring the ensemble SurVarsha.

The SurVarsha ensemble was founded in 2005, and its name translates as “A Shower of Notes.” The ensemble is dedicated to reviving the magic of music through the timeless traditions of Hindustani classical and semi-classical music, which interweave spirituality, nature, and a deep emotional experience.

Over the years, SurVarsha has become part of prestigious musical platforms and festivals such as the Global Peace Concert, the commemorative music program R. S. Sharda, Manik Shriti Samaroh, Dada Pancham, and many other renowned events across India.

Together with masters of Hindustani classical music, SurVarsha creates soulful concerts in which every note resonates with the rhythm of nature, inner peace, and the beauty of the moment.

  • Vidushi Gouri Banerjee Sati – sarangi

  • Shruti Adhikari – santoor

  • Moisilee Dutta – sarod
