17 December – Low-Threshold Center Trenčín
A special reading at the Low-Threshold Center in Trenčín is also part of the December series of events of the Trenčín Literary Festival. This year again, we bring literature to places where people often don’t have access to it – hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and social care facilities. Through culture, we want to connect communities and open its doors to everyone without distinction.
At the Low-Threshold Center, writer Silvester Lavrík will read, accompanied by the musical performance of Boris Lenko. We believe that a personal encounter with literature and music can be an enriching experience for the center’s clients and a reminder that culture is a natural part of every person’s life.
We thank Mário Barinec, social worker and our important link, for making this event possible. He has long been providing support and guidance to the center’s clients. His work and openness are crucial for building bridges between communities in our city.
This reading is also a quiet invitation – everyone is welcome at all our public events throughout 2026. No matter where they come from. Because culture belongs to everyone.
Photos and videos will be taken at the event and may be published later.
