Inventive Leadership for Secondary Schools

Educational workshops for students include three workshops during regular classes, plus one optional workshop for students interested in further development.

Workshops for students:

1. Are you ready for life after high school? – In this workshop, students assess their level in key 21st-century skills (critical thinking, communication, teamwork, time management, project skills).
2. Create a project based on your interests – Students go step by step through the phases of the project cycle using their own project ideas.
3. Krúžkovica – A panel discussion with inspiring guests from the region who share their experiences, interesting projects, and engagement with students.
4. A new generation for leading workshops at your school – Motivated participants will be trained to lead similar workshops for younger students in the coming years or to develop their own projects.

Workshops for teachers:

A series of four workshops focused on project-based learning is led by the organization DASATO as part of its non-formal education program, DASATO Academy. The first workshop covers the basics of PBL (project-based learning), after which the group of teachers selects three additional topics (out of 14 available) that are most useful for them.

In the 2024/2025 school year, two secondary schools participated in the project: Gymnázium Dubnica nad Váhom and Piaristické Gymnasium J. Braneckého in Trenčín.

In the 2025/2026 school year, three schools joined: the Secondary Industrial School of Civil Engineering of Emil Belluš in Trenčín, Milan Hodža Business Academy in Trenčín, and the Secondary Medical School in Považská Bystrica.
