pssst is a series of concert events curated by the ooo Association, dedicated to contemporary and experimental music performed by artists who uncompromisingly explore the peripheries of musical thought.
We live in an era of unprecedented diversity in music, composition, and instrumentation.
So: In how many ways can one play the guitar?
Where do the boundaries of experiment and improvisation lie?
And where do we go beyond the European tradition, the grandeur of concert halls, and the order of the perfect fifth?
The ooo Association was founded in spring 2020 as a space devoted to exploring the world through sound art, contemporary music, and intermedia.
Its founding members are artist and educator Fero Király and dramaturge, cultural manager, and performer Eva Vozárová.
The association’s artistic and curatorial focus lies in projects that delve into the complex relationships between human and non-human beings, encompassing acoustic ecology, deep listening, environmental and social themes, and disciplines such as anthropology, philosophy, mathematics, and other fields of knowledge.
ooo Association favors considerate and context-aware artistic interventions.
