When the Váh Turns into a River of Ideas

Splanekor 2.0 is a community event that brings the Váh River to life through creative, unconventional vessels and a shared experience. It’s not about professional boats or perfection. It’s about what happens when a group of people, a bit of curiosity, and the desire to make something with their own hands come together.

Come up with a team name, design a vessel you wouldn’t normally see on the Váh, and enjoy a day on the water – with respect for the river and nature.

You’ll create something together – and that is often the greatest value of all.
You’ll experience the Váh as a space for creativity and community.
You’ll become part of the energy that brings public spaces in Trenčín to life.

Splanekor 2.0 is open to everyone who wants to try something new, have fun, and at the same time respect the river and its surroundings. It doesn’t matter whether you are experienced makers or creating something for the first time – what matters is the willingness to take part.

Support for teams: €150 contribution

Registered teams can take part in a competition in which selected vessels will receive symbolic financial awards of €150. We expect to support approximately 30 teams.

Registration opens on 20 February 2026 via the registration form.

Deadlines:

by 20 May 2026 – if you are applying for the financial contribution (competition)
by 31 May 2026 – if you do not wish to apply for the contribution (please indicate this in the note section of the form)

Important: You can join even without registration

Splanekor 2.0 is open – those who do not register are still welcome on the water. However, registration helps us with organization and ensures you receive all the necessary information in time.
