We are looking for a student to support the Trenčín 2026 marketing team
Being part of the European Capital of Culture project is a unique opportunity. Trenčín is only the second city in Slovakia to be awarded this title. The main part of the programme awaits us in 2026, but some projects have already started and more are quickly emerging. There’s more and more work to do, so we’re gradually building the team. Will you be the next piece that fits into the Trenčín 2026 puzzle?
We are now looking for a student to join us on a part-time basis, working with the brand manager on activities supporting the Trenčín 2026 brand.
What to expect as part of the Trenčín 2026 team
-
Your primary task will be to take care of promotional items – ordering, distribution and record-keeping. But even here, there’s room for creativity.
-
You will take part in presenting our project – by attending events at the Trenčín 2026 booth.
-
Sometimes, manual work will be needed – such as labelling merchandise or distributing posters.
-
You’ll collaborate with the marketing team, where you’ll meet experts in their fields.
-
You’ll definitely experience something new and gain valuable experience for your personal and professional growth.
What we expect from you
-
A responsible attitude – when you promise something, you deliver.
-
Ability to approach work systematically – you know how to use MS Excel.
-
An eye for organisation and administration – you’ll need to keep track of orders and invoices.
-
A positive mindset – you don’t look for excuses but for ways to get things done.
-
Initiative, communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
-
You speak and write in Slovak fluently.
What we offer in return
-
A place in a marketing team – a friendly atmosphere, human approach, mutual help and support are a given here.
-
Trust in your abilities – you’ll have space to express opinions and realise your ideas.
-
Opportunities to grow – with this project, we all grow together and face new challenges.
-
A chance to contribute – being part of the European Capital of Culture is not only a professional challenge, but also a way to do something good for the city we live in.
