On Saturday, 26 September, a historic railcar will connect Trenčín with Lednické Rovne. It will take you directly to the St Michael’s Festival – for glass, history and a cultural programme. Tickets can be purchased directly on the train.
By Train for Glass is a one-day journey on a historic train, organised as part of the SKLO-HMOTA project. It is more than just getting from point A to point B. Travelling aboard a vintage railcar along a regional railway line is an experience in itself, connecting the glassmaking tradition of Lednické Rovne with the region’s railway heritage.
In Lednické Rovne, the St Michael’s Festival awaits, along with a programme dedicated to glass, which has been produced here for more than a hundred years.

Tickets are one-way and can be purchased directly on the train. No advance sales are available.
