Glass – Matter

Glass – Matter is a project dedicated to glassmaking as a living craft and a contemporary artistic medium, with a focus on the tradition of Lednické Rovne, where glassmaking has endured since 1892. It brings together domestic and international glass artists who will create in the local workshops and furnaces, with the resulting works later presented to the public through exhibitions in the region.

The project raises questions about the significance of glass today – as a means of artistic expression, a bearer of cultural identity, and a symbol of the fragile yet resilient connection between tradition and the present.
