The event has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. We will inform you of the rescheduled date.
The Public Escapades project, developed by the WOVEN studio, consists of four pavilions that will be created in pairs across two locations along the Váh River. Conceived as jewels of these public spaces, the pavilions invite people to experience the landscape in new ways.
The Community Picnics at the Unio Specus and Unio Pendet pavilions in Alúvium will take place every other week, bringing together architecture, nature, and people of different generations. Visitors can look forward to picnics complemented by creative workshops, movement and relaxation activities, discussions, and concerts.
The programme is structured around four thematic days – Material Day, Movement Day, Nature Day, and Slow Day – each offering new experiences throughout the summer. Open and free of charge, the events provide opportunities for families, seniors, young people, and professionals alike to discover Alúvium as a vibrant public space where architecture and community life come together.
