From November 2–4, 2026, Placemaking Days comes to Trenčín for a 2.5-day gathering exploring the relationship between placemaking, culture and trust.
We’ll bring together placemakers, cultural practitioners, communities, municipalities and international experts to ask how the places we shape — and the ways we experience them together — can create the conditions for trust to grow.
How Trust Grows
Trust can begin with something very small.

These everyday experiences can become the foundation for stronger relationships, more connected communities and more participatory democratic life.
At Placemaking Days Trenčín 2026, we’ll explore how public space and culture can help create these conditions for trust — between people, communities and institutions.
