We invite you to a dance performance BRAVE, where two bodies, two experiences, and two ways of being meet on stage. The piece was created through long-term research into relationships, mutual support, and the search for new possibilities of movement, presence, and perception.
BRAVE is the result of several years of collaboration between choreographer Paola Bianchi and performer Valentina Bravetti. The performance explores what emerges in the space between two bodies – when it is no longer about performance, but about attention, trust, determination, and the desire to be together on stage. Instead of spectacle, it offers a focused stage experience that opens up themes of difference, closeness, and shared presence.
Today, the work is part of the choreographic research project ELP, in which Paola Bianchi explores the relationship between word, movement, and bodily memory. The result is a performance that is precise, physical, and at the same time delicate.
Since the late 1980s, Paola Bianchi has been one of the leading figures in contemporary dance. Her work has been presented at numerous international contemporary dance and theatre festivals. She is the author of the publication Corpo Politico _ distopia del gesto, utopia del movimento, and her research project ELP received the Rete Critica award in 2020.

Post-Performance Discussion: Inclusive Art
What does it mean to create inclusive art without reducing an artist with a disability to a symbol of difference? How can artists with disabilities create work that is recognised for its artistic merit, rather than being viewed primarily through the lens of their disability?
The discussion will explore these questions and consider ways to ensure that artists with disabilities are recognised not simply as examples of people who create art despite their disabilities, but as artists in their own right, with unique talents and artistic identities.

Radka’s connection to art and culture began to take shape in early childhood. She started reciting poetry in kindergarten and discovered the magic of theatre during her school years. Originally from Tisovec, she pursued her education in nearby Revúca, where she graduated from the First Slovak Literary Grammar School. Throughout her studies, she remained devoted to her passion for theatre.
She gained her first professional experience as a presenter and reporter for a local television station in Rimavská Sobota. She later continued to develop her artistic talents and creativity while working with children as a teacher of literary and dramatic arts at an elementary art school.
Life then took her to Prievidza, where, following the birth of her first son, Oliver, her artistic performances temporarily moved into the home. The theatre stage gave way to the everyday monodrama of motherhood, initially performed for an audience of one. Before the birth of her second son, Dominik, she returned to her hometown of Tisovec and began studying management.
Sixteen years later, her journey came full circle with a return to Revúca, this time to Litterra, where she now works as a museum educator. Her role is to transform traditional lessons in literature, history and natural sciences into engaging, hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity and a desire to explore.
For more than two years, she has been guiding school groups through Litterra, designing and delivering a diverse educational programme for visitors of all ages. Through her work, she demonstrates that learning does not have to be confined to textbooks, but can be brought to life through experiences, stories and the joy of discovery.
Art, working with people and creativity therefore remain an integral part of her life, whether she is on stage, in front of a camera, in a museum or at home performing for her most devoted audience.
