The first time, we simply danced together in Trenčianske Teplice, then in Trenčín — some people came with dance experience, while others had none at all. What united everyone was movement, music, and the desire to try something new.
Now we are continuing in Nimnica.

About the Dance Course
Just Dance III is an invitation to join a dance course led by teacher, choreographer, and former professional dancer Michal Šandor. You do not need to know any dance steps or have any previous experience. All you need to do is come and allow yourself to move — without pressure to perform and without any preconceived idea of what dance should look like. The course will run for 3 hours per day, including breaks.
Movement does not require a shared language or perfect technique. Dance can release tension, bring energy, and help us focus, for a while, only on ourselves and the people around us. And when we move together, something emerges that cannot be created alone — a shared rhythm, mutual awareness, and a sense of belonging.
This simple idea also gave rise to the Tanzende Nachbarn (Dancing Neighbours) project, which Michal Šandor founded as part of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. Since 2023, the project has used dance to connect primarily people aged 50+ from different social and cultural backgrounds. Here, dance is neither the goal nor a performance. It is a way to meet, get moving, and spend time together.
Come and dance. Not to learn how to dance perfectly. Simply because movement feels good.
Senior participants are especially welcome.
