For one day, Soblahovská belongs to people. No cars – instead a street filled with a market, music, food and a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere. Come for a walk, stop by, sit down and discover what a city street can become when we look at it differently.
Korzo Soblahovská is a modern urban market and a full-day gathering for families, neighbours and people from across the region. Together with Trenčín na Korze, we show that public space can be used comfortably, safely and with joy – not only in the city centre.

Why Soblahovská
Soblahovská is an important city artery – but most of the time it mainly serves cars. Korzo temporarily changes its rhythm and gives priority to people: walking, meeting, local food, relaxation and movement.
At the same time, we open a conversation about how this street and its surroundings could work more pleasantly in everyday life – today and in the future.

What will be different at Korzo this year?
This year we are building on what worked well and adding new layers you will notice as soon as you arrive:
🚶♂️ More space to walk
Korzo will extend further along the street up to the Dlhé Hony intersection (about 500 metres in total). More space means easier movement, more places to stop and more opportunities to enjoy the day.
🌿 Green spaces fully activated
The greenery along Soblahovská has great potential but is often underused. During Korzo we will show what can happen on lawns and under trees – from picnics and simple exercise to games and creative activities for children.
Not just “once a year”, but as ideas that can become part of everyday life.
🧺 The Market Hall alive from morning to evening
The Market Hall will run in a full-day rhythm: morning market, afternoon cooking and food programme, evening music and light programme. It’s a taste of how the Market Hall can function as a lively place beyond a single event.
🤝 More local people involved in the programme
Local residents, organisations and businesses will be more actively involved in the preparation and programme – helping make Korzo truly a community event.

Transport and restrictions
During the event, the affected section of the street will be closed to traffic. We recommend arriving on foot, by bicycle or by public transport.
Detailed information about road closures and possible changes in traffic will be published in advance.
