The selection is in – out of almost 200 submitted projects, the jury has chosen twelve bold musical acts that will ignite Slovak stages in 2025. Garage, part of the European Capital of Culture Trenčín 2026, introduces its finalists.
Music that breaks through the rehearsal room walls
Fresh sounds are once again echoing from garages, basements, and rehearsal spaces. Garage – a flagship project supporting emerging musicians within Trenčín 2026 – has its 12 finalists who are set to embark on a shared journey of growth, exploration, and musical adventure in 2025.
From nearly 200 applications, the expert jury selected a genre-diverse and daring dozen that reflects the most vibrant spirit of the current independent scene.

Each has their own voice, but all share the drive to create, grow, and connect with audiences. In the coming months, they will participate in a concert, professional workshops, mentoring sessions, and receive support from music industry professionals. Garage is not just about the stage – it’s a path to building skills and finding an audience.
