Charlotte Koch aka CHAPAUKO is a writer and musician based in Berlin, originally from Mainz. She studied music production at SRH Berlin University and has been writing and producing her own music for the past ten years.
After a busy summer touring across Germany with her band Scampi, she is now coming to Trenčín to focus more deeply on her solo work and return to what first sparked her interest in music: capturing sounds wherever she goes, experimenting with new equipment, and building sonic worlds through pedals and effects.
She is particularly drawn to the moments when a strange noise encountered in the wild or a hidden effect in Ableton can express a feeling that words could never quite capture.
During her residency in Trenčín, she will explore these ideas further through sound, experimentation and her solo practice, and she is very excited to spend September in Trenčín.
