Community Leader and Their Personality I.

Working as a leader means working with people. Communication, handling difficult conversations, giving and receiving feedback, motivation – these are all essential skills. Community leaders also encounter situations where they need these abilities. Within the team they work with on projects and collaborations, they need to clearly explain their ideas, be able to listen and understand the needs of others, and handle challenging participants, children, or their parents directly at events.

During our three meetings focused on the leader’s personality, we will talk about various situations and how to handle them through understanding the different personality types we all have.

After completing these meetings, you will:

  • Better understand yourself (who you are and how others perceive you)

  • Better understand others (learn to recognize different behaviors and how to respond to their needs)

  • Learn how to adapt your communication and make connections in order to better co-create results

  • Learn how to strengthen trust within a team and in interpersonal relationships

We wrapped up a series of workshops on the topic “Community Leader and Their Personality” ✨
Across three sessions, we explored qualities, personality traits, what comes naturally to us, and what we sometimes tend to overdo—and also why that happens.
We had some laughs about what annoys us in others 😊 while also realising that “others don’t do it on purpose.”
It was important to understand the differences between people and what diversity of personalities can bring to our communities.
Most importantly, we focused on understanding ourselves as community leaders—what our strengths are and how to use them in the best possible way in community work.
If this topic interests you, we’re preparing vol. 2 🙌
You can look forward to 3 sessions, each 2 hours of self-discovery.
