Being a leader involves working with people. Communication, handling difficult conversations, giving and receiving feedback, and motivation are all part of it. Community leaders also encounter situations where these skills are essential. Within a team they collaborate with on projects, they need to clearly explain their ideas, be able to listen and understand the needs of others, and directly manage challenging participants, children, or their parents during events.
During our three sessions focused on the personality of a leader, we will discuss various situations and how to handle them through understanding the different types of personalities we are.
After completing these sessions, you will:
-
Better understand yourself (what you are like and how others perceive you)
-
Better understand others (you will learn to recognize others’ behavior and how to respond to their needs)
-
Learn how to adapt your communication and build connections to co-create better results
-
Learn how to strengthen trust within a team and in interpersonal relationships
