We warmly invite you to a guided tour of the AUTOREPORT exhibition with curator Vladimír Beskid.
Take this unique opportunity to step behind the scenes of the artistic process and get to know the artists and their works more intimately.
AUTOREPORT is a group exhibition featuring Pavlína Fichta Čierna, Viktor Frešo, and Mark Ther. Each of them seeks different answers to the question: What does self-portrait mean today—in a time when identity shifts between analog and digital, between the intimate and the public.
Curated by Vladimír Beskid, the exhibition brings together works created in recent years. Together, they map the artists’ personal and artistic journeys—their own “autoreport.”
The artists
Pavlína Fichta Čierna
The artist has long explored themes of corporeality, vulnerability, and intimacy through the mediums of photography and video.
Viktor Frešo
A prominent figure in the contemporary Slovak art scene. His works playfully subvert stereotypes and explore the boundaries between high and popular visual codes.
Mark Ther
A Czech visual artist investigating identity, memory, and gender stereotypes. He works with video, installation, and performative elements.
The event is part of the Curiosity festival
The AUTOREPORT exhibition is part of the project Rooted in Trenčín, which is included in the Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture program.
The project is financially supported by the City of Trenčín, Trenčín Self-Governing Region, the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, and the European Union.
Please note that photo and video documentation will be taken during the event and may be published later.
