How can textiles respond to light? This workshop builds on the Light Art Festival and connects work with material, detail, and light effects. Throughout the afternoon, we will work with two formats: macramé keychains made from reflective threads and fluorescent screen printing featuring graphic motifs created for the festival.
Participants can print on their own textiles—a T-shirt, sweatshirt, or tote bag—or choose from a selection of T-shirts prepared for the workshop by Textile House. The programme will also include short assignments prepared by students from the Arts Management studio (UTB Zlín), opening up themes of consumer habits, our relationship to clothing, and its life cycle.
