The October programme at LUMó HUB focuses on materials and working with clothing – from learning how to identify fabrics and understand their properties, through basic sewing skills, to creative work with existing garments. The month will open with a new window installation by Silvia Berecká and, alongside regular activities, will feature workshops focused on sewing, upcycling and exploring materials, as well as another edition of the clothing swap.

Description:
An open space for sewing, upcycling and your own textile projects. Visitors can choose from prepared activities of varying difficulty or bring their own ideas and make use of the available materials and support from more experienced participants.

Repair HUB

Description:
A space for minor clothing repairs and alterations with an experienced seamstress. Bring clothes that need shortening, mending, a zip or button replaced, or another simple alteration.

Opletačky

Description:
Opletačky continues in October with open community gatherings dedicated to knitting, crochet and creating together. Both experienced makers and complete beginners are welcome to join.
