Are you ready to break down your prejudices about people in need and homelessness? Walks Without a Home are an experience that will give you a completely new perspective on your surroundings.
Mário Barinec, head of the Low-Threshold Centre in Trenčín, together with guide Jana Bebjaková, will take you through places and situations experienced by people in need.
You will experience first-hand what it feels like to find yourself in a crisis situation. Would you know what to do and who to ask for help? Would you be able to obtain money or find emergency shelter? You may never find yourself in such a situation, but someone around you is very likely struggling with similar questions.
The walk lasts approximately an hour and a half. It starts at 4:00 PM at the Trenčín Railway Station (in front of the main entrance hall) and ends at the Low-Threshold Centre on M. Nešpora Street.
Registration
The walks are organised in small groups of up to 10 people, so prior registration via the form is required: Registration form
If there is high interest, we will add additional walk dates.
The event is suitable for ages 16 and up.
