Edit András and Ilona Németh
Edit András and Ilona Németh have worked closely together for more than a decade. They were both members of the Private Nationalism project, an international art and cultural programme initiated by the Approach Art Association under the leadership of Rita Varga. Edit András curated the Budapest exhibition in 2015, while Ilona Németh co-curated the exhibitions in Košice (2014) and Bratislava (2015).
They continued this collaboration with Birgit Lurz and Wolfgang Schlag, co-curating the exhibition Universal Hospitality, presented as part of the Into the City programme during the Wiener Festwochen in Vienna in 2016. The exhibition was later shown in Prague, extending the themes and collaborative approach developed through their earlier projects.
