How can you structure the way an NGO operates so that it remains stable and sustainable in the long term?
During the workshop, we will explore practical topics related to the financial management and development of non-profit organisations. We will discuss how to approach diversified funding, how to better plan cash flow, and how to set up effective financial management within an organisation.
We will also look at what can help an organisation transition from a volunteer-based structure to a more professional and stable model.
The guest speaker at this training session is Richard Fekete, a specialist in financing non-profit organisations at Slovenská sporiteľňa.
Richard Fekete works with the non-profit sector as well as aspiring entrepreneurs. He has also been active in the non-governmental non-profit sector for many years, particularly in the fields of human rights and nature conservation. In the past, he worked for several advertising and PR agencies, and in 2014 he served as Director of Greenpeace Slovakia. He has also been involved in the start-up economy and entrepreneurship.
After completing the workshop, you will:
- better understand the options for diversifying your organisation’s funding sources
- gain practical tips on cash flow planning and financial management
- learn what can help your organisation transition from a volunteer-based structure to a more professional model
