About the Exhibition
Beneath the Surface presents the designs from an architectural and artistic competition for the renewal of the main underpass in Trenčín. Visitors will discover different authors’ approaches to public space and get to know the winning design, which will transform the busy underpass near Hotel Elizabeth into a safe and visually inspiring place.

If you’re curious about how a new public space is created in the city, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to compare the visions of architects and artists. At the same time, it presents a concept for a place we often overlook, yet pass through every day.
