Live, Laugh, Cry
Artists: Karolína Auzká (CZ) & Julie Drahovzalová (CZ)
The Live, Laugh, Cry exhibition captures the feelings of a generation growing up under constant pressure to perform, succeed, and continuously improve themselves. In a world of endless scrolling, algorithms, and social media, where we are expected to be increasingly productive, attractive, and happy, the exhibition explores themes of burnout, identity, interpersonal relationships, and the feeling that we are never enough.
In their work, Karolína Auzká and Julie Drahovzalová combine humour, irony, internet aesthetics, and personal experience. The result is an exhibition in which visitors may recognise themselves, their own experiences, or situations all too familiar from everyday life.
Despite addressing serious topics, Live, Laugh, Cry is not a hopeless reflection on the present. The exhibition creates a sensitive space to pause, reflect, and smile. It reminds us that even amid the pressure and chaos of today’s world, we can find understanding, a sense of belonging, and beauty.
